Trip to Brighton to see Ezra Furman supported by Du Blonde at the Brighton Dome Theatre. A beautiful old theatre built between 1804 and 1808 and an excellent place to see a band.

On the Sunday I had a drive out in the van in the direction of Beachy Head, never been before. Stopped off at Birling Gap and had lunch on the beach.

Beachy Head, Eastbourne in the distance.

September 2017. On the beach at Looe, music, beer and pasties.
Friday afternoon, before the music started, I thought that I’d drive to Polperro for an ice cream. It’s a pretty place, but it’s not pretty enough to have to pay £4 to park just to have an ice cream. I drove on. I stopped at Lansallos, walked down to the beach and I was very glad that I did.

The headline acts weren’t the ones that I would have chosen, but I suppose that I can now say that I’ve seen Lulu, even if it was from a distance as I left.

On the Monday morning, after the festival, I drove up to the north coast and stayed for a few days at the C&MCC Treamble Valley club site which is 3 miles north of Perranporth.
